I am LTC (ret.) Luis Rocha. I have spent the last 22 years in the US Army as a Medical Logistics Officer. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. I attended college at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where I received a two-year scholarship and entered the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. I have had many leadership assignments and experienced two combat deployments Afghanistan and Djibouti that I will draw on to teach valuable lessons to the young men and women of Burbank HS. It will be my honor to teach JROTC this year and lead cadets to reach their dreams and goals. My vision for the Bulldog Battalion is to be a nationally competitive program and prepare cadets for adulthood and their next step in life. I want to show the city of San Antonio and the US Army that our cadets are truly the pride of the southside!
