About Ms. Bordes

Originally from New York City, I moved to San Antonio in 1994 to develop the Russian language program for SAISD.  I taught Russian in middle and high school for 25 years.  My students distinguished themselves in many ways, including winning trips to live and travel in Russia.  I have also taught English, AVID and PATH, in addition to working in our Early College High School.  I lead our Languages Other Than English and AVID Departments, and I have worked in Credit Recovery in Twilight School for several years, including Summer School.  I am very excited to teach the Credit Recovery classes this year and help you Dream Big and achieve your goals! #DestinationGraduation
