I am honored to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Burbank High School. With over 20 years of experience as an educator in Texas, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to Burbank High School and enhance the academic and operational excellence already established.

In my previous role as a Reading Specialist, as well as, at times, substituting for Associate Principals in Northside ISD, I have honed my skills in organizational leadership, strategic leadership, and instructional leadership, which are indispensable for the Assistant Principal position at Burbank High School.

My tenure at Northside ISD allowed me to effectively manage school operations and drive initiatives that fostered significant improvements in student discipline and their academic achievement.

I possess a robust set of skills which include data-driven decision-making, operations management, innovation and creativity, and product management. Additionally, my strengths in staff development, classroom management, community engagement, and program implementation have consistently resulted in heightened educational outcomes and improved staff performance evaluations.

I am a former graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School in SAISD and hold a Masters degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio in Educational Administration, which provided me with a strong foundation in educational theories and practices relevant to this Assistant Principal role.

I am eager to bring my expertise in developing student academic success, staff development, and school event coordination to Burbank High School. I am confident that my background and skills will make a valuable addition to our Burbank High School Team. I look forward to being a part of this Amazing high school community and I am Honored to be a part of the "Pride of The Southside Community!"
