I am Dr. Natalia Cavazos, I am Colombian and I am a Spanish teacher. By profession, I am a dentist and practiced my profession for 10 years. After that, I had the opportunity to come to the United States and fulfill my dream of teaching in a Spanish immersion school with young children. There, I understood the importance of creating developing minds in the early stages of life to achieve optimal language acquisition and fluency in the future.
After living this wonderful experience with infants, I began working as an instructional assistant at Woodlawn Hills Elementary School with fifth-grade students. This was an unforgettable experience that encouraged me to take the next step, which has led me here to Burbank. Here, I have the opportunity of working with adolescents who need unconditional guidance to shape their professional and academic paths, and that’s why I’m here. I bring positive energy to help these students not only excel academically but also develop discipline. I want my students to become passionate about life and the beautiful future that awaits them if they prepare and surround themselves with the right people willing to provide options and tools for a successful life plan. I firmly believe in my students and their potential, and I embrace every classroom and school guidelines implemented to providing a high-quality education. I am thrilled to be able to provide skills to help the next generation achieve their goals and open a world of opportunities. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making my classes dynamic, interactive, and productive. I want my students to always feel motivated and happy to be in my class.
As for me, I am married, an animal lover, and very sociable. I enjoy reading, learning, watching documentaries, and walking with my family. More than just a teacher, I am a support system to help each of your children’s minds shine.
