Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Priscilla O'Connor and I teach Second Grade at Hawthorne Academy. This will be my 26th year teaching and my first year at Hawthorne. I am happy to join the Hawthorne community and to be working with Ms. Madison Habeck, who will be joining our class as a Teacher Intern.
I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. I'm originally from San Antonio and grew up in different places around the world. Spending time with family and friends is my favorite pastime, especially while listening to live music! Teaching is my passion and I'm excited to spend the year with my newest group of learners and leaders.
This year promises to be filled with fun-filled learning, amazing experiences, and lasting memories. Ms. Habeck and I look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growing together!
