My name is Guadalupe "Pita" Rodriguez, and I am proud to serve as principal of Hawthorne Academy. Here at Hawthorne we have a long, proud history of servicing students and families. We are located in a vibrant part of the city and enjoy the many benefits this brings through partnerships with places such as the San Antonio Museum of Art and the San Antonio Public Library. As your principal, I am committed to helping insure a safe, productive learning environment for your child to make sure they are Future Ready! We invite you to join our family.
Academy is the first school in the San Antonio Independent School
District to have adopted a K-8th grade academy school model. Our ongoing
efforts are receiving recognition throughout the state.
