Greetings! My name is Samantha Sepulveda. I am a behavioral special education teacher here at Smith Elementary. It is a privilege to work with a wonderful group of students who learn and process the world around them differently. It is my goal to get students excited and engaged in their education. By incorporating social emotional learning into our curriculum, we aim to build healthy meaningful relationships.
I received my BA in psychology at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Shortly after graduating, I began working as a mental health counselor for children ages 3-17. I grew up on the South side of San Antonio. As a product of SAISD, it brigs me great joy to be able to fulfill one of my greatest dreams; that is to contribute to the community that help raise me. Here at Smith Elementary, our students are happy, and so are the teachers.
