We thank all of our Hawks for enhancing their Digital Learning journey this week by going totally online with their learning! As a VILS campus, we are used to utilizing technology with iPads and the use of Google Classrooms. Teachers report that students are happy to reconnect with their school family to continue their learning!
We are nearly 100% complete in our issue of technology to our students, with the majority of our issue taking place last week. Those students still needing technology are being contacted and scheduled for an appointment to pick up their device at the school once these items are delivered to the campus.
Our counselors, Ms. Gonzales and Ms. Bujanos want to let you know that there are many resources for our students and families available at the following "Counselors Corner "SMORE": https://www.smore.com/7yc5t-whittier-s-counselors-corner
Feel free to reach out to our counselors, your teachers or administrators through email or your Google classroom. Those students that need to speak to one of our counselors may use the referral form located in the smore website above.
Stay home as much as possible and practice Social Distancing when you are out, continue to wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds!
We are here for you, only an email or Google classroom away! Login to Google Classroom everyday, Study hard, and Stay Strong Hawks!

At Whittier Middle School, we know the importance of building relationships with our students and providing classroom environments conducive to learning. We truly believe that all students can be successful. Our goal is to prepare our students for college and the work force by teaching them responsibility, organizational skills, providing a rigorous curriculum and by holding them accountable for their learning.
And, new for the 2019-2020 school year, we have launched a Dual Language program that will allow your child to work toward fluency in both English and Spanish. We challenge students in the classroom and give them the opportunity to build leadership and teamwork skills through a variety of extracurricular programs and activities.
Welcome to Whittier Middle School, the Power of Us!
