Greetings Beacon Hill Family,
The faculty and I are thrilled to welcome you to the 2017 – 2018 school year. We are excited with our new website and we hope that you visit it often. It is our goal that our website will be consistently used to communicate with you throughout the year about upcoming events, along with pictures of the inspiring learning experiences and events.
At Beacon Hill, we are dedicated to providing a positive experience for all who enter our doors. My mission as principal is to always do what’s best for our students! We strive to create an environment where each and every student is given the opportunity to reach his/her potential. Our school must be a place where students feel safe and secure in their environment and with their learning.
We hope that our families will continue to be an active participant in their child’s learning. There are many opportunities for you to be an active participant, including the following: joining the PTA, chaperoning, volunteering, becoming a “room parent”, assisting your child with projects/ homework, and supporting fundraising activities. It is my belief that when there is a strong connection between home and the school, students are bound to succeed. Please contact Susan Simpson at 210-738-9765 ext. 60628 or firstname.lastname@example.org to join our volunteer team.
This year’s theme is, “Every Player, Every Play, EveryDay….Persevere!”. With the addition of 7th grade, we will now have sports for our students to include volleyball, soccer, football, cross-country and basketball. This will bring a heightened sense of school pride, which is another reason to be excited about this year. We look forward to “making plays” and “scoring points” with each and every one of you!
Thank you in advance for making Beacon Hill the school on the move!
