Rawan J. Hammoudeh
Ms. Hammoudeh began her career as a teacher at Smith Elementary where her high expectations and strong work ethic contributed to excellence in the teaching and learning of all students. Mrs. Hammoudeh held leadership positions including Principal, Relay Resident Principal, Assistant Principal and SAISD Mathematics District Instructional Coach. During her time in these leadership positions she demonstrated excellent instructional leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. She gained extensive experience in working collaboratively with assistant superintendents, campus administrators and teachers to identify areas of need through the use of data to develop and implement strategic and targeted action plans that address the needs of all stakeholders.
In addition, she demonstrated strengths in coaching and collaborative skills in: curriculum alignment, lesson design and research-based teaching strategies. Furthermore, she has been cited on numerous occasions for excellence in the design and delivery of professional development at both the district and campus levels. Ms. Hammoudeh attended UTSA and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then later, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at UTSA. Recently, Ms. Hammoudeh graduated with honors from the Relay National Principals Academy Fellowship.
