Vanessa Cartwright, M.Ed
My name is Vanessa Cartwright, and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Highland Hills familia and serve as your new principal. Our HHE community has dedicated, talented members committed to providing an equitable and loving education for our students. As a community, we will continue to put students first and work diligently to ensure their success. My professional background is rooted in education, leadership, and instructional coaching. For the past twenty years, I have worked in public, private, and charter education as a teacher, education consultant, school and district leader and I look forward to using these experiences as your new principal.
I am committed to embracing the positive traditions and practices that are already in place at Highland Hills Elementary while working relentlessly to ensure success for the future. I always say, "at the end of the day, everything we do is for our students," and it is that belief that will ensure our students continue to receive an exemplary education in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Together, as a united familia, we can do it!
My door is always open to you, and I sincerely welcome your input and support. I am excited about all we will accomplish together for our students and look forward to celebrating our collective success this school year!
