At Martin Luther King Academy we are a K- 8th Academy of choice, we believe all students have the ability to be well-rounded individuals. We encourage students to learn through investigation and real world experiences. Students use their life experiences as catalyst for connecting academics to creating a thriving community. Partnerships between community members and the school develop the social-emotional skills of the students while supporting their academic needs. Exploration, questioning, hands-on, and creativity are the core of academic mastery in all grade levels. Our extracurricular offerings include Advance Band, UIL sports, step team, chess club, and scrabble club. Our school educates all students, providing special education and gifted and talented services to eligible students.
Now offering Coding and American Sign Language electives for middle school students!!!
