Phyllis Foley-Davis
Phyllis Foley-Davis is the principal of Booker T. Washington Elementary school in SAISD. She has been in the field of education for many years and has served as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal. She brings a well-versed background in caring and compassionate campus leadership. She is known for strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, good rapport with staff, students, parents, and the Booker T. Washington community.
Her philosophy comes from a quote by Mariam Wright Edelman that states, “You can’t Be what you can’t see”. Phyllis Foley-Davis graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She also obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and she earned a second degree with the Urban School Leaders Collaborative obtaining a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
