Seesaw is a digital student portfolio intended to give our Pre-K through 7th grade students a place to create, submit, and share their learning with their teachers, class, and parents in a way that provides an easy entry into digital learning.  With your help, we can continue building our school community of lifelong 21st century learners.

The Seesaw app allows each student to have a digital portfolio that is used to share their learning in a safe and engaging way. Families are able to connect to their child's journal at home and on the go via any mobile device to view the work students are doing at school throughout the week.  Teachers and parents can also communicate with each other through the Seesaw app to provide reminders and other important classroom information.

Benefits:

  • Helps capture the learning process, encourages students to reflect on their understandings, and develops 21st century skills.
  • Students take ownership and pride in their learning, and they can show what they know through pictures, videos, voice recordings, text, and more!

  • Families are included in the learning process by providing easy access, immediate updates, built in translation tools, and an opportunity to comment on their child's work.
  • Provides an authentic audience for student work.  Students can share their "WOW" work with others connected to their journal.

  • A safe online platform for students to showcase their learning.  The classroom teacher approves student posts before they are shared, and families can only see work posted in their child's journal.

If you need help getting connected to your child's journal, please contact your child's teacher.
