Welcome to Kate Schenck Elementary!
My name is Chelsea Sanchez Gonzalez and I’m so very excited to be one of your Headstart teachers! This will be my second year teaching, but I have worked with children for almost four years now. This school year is going to be filled with fun, lots of learning, and new adventures. Let’s make this year a great year!
My Education
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and English with a Creative Writing Emphasis from Texas State University. I love to read and learn new things. I firmly believe we never stop learning and life is one big educational journey.
A Little About Me
I grew up on the south side of San Antonio and graduated from South San High School. I have one brother and he is my best friend. I grew up in a big traditional Hispanic family and I love them very much. I have one dog named Ariel and she loves to go on walks with my husband and me. P.S. We will be going on virtual field trips with Ariel very soon.
