Hello! and welcome to the Rhodes Mariachi program. My name is Mr. Alvarado and I am proud to be the Mariachi Director here at Rhodes Middle School. It is my absolute pleasure to return for another year at this outstanding program. In my capacity as a Mariachi Director, we have grown so much and I couldn't be prouder of all my students. It's my wish that you feel welcome and to continue another year of excellence. Therefore, it's expected for all students to give 100% to the Rhodes Mariachi family.
In my class you will gain not only the musical skills required to succeed in Mariachi, you will take with you a deep appreciation of our Mexican heritage and its music.
I've been involved in Mariachi for most of my musical career. I am from Laredo,TX and I graduated from Texas A&M International University.
