Programs
Rhodes Middle School provides a technology-focused curriculum that gives students the skills needed to prepare for high school and become college and career ready.
Starting in 6th grade, students are offered elective classes including Technical Applications (This class is a prerequisite for later technology courses). Additionally, each student at Jeremiah Rhodes Middle School will receive an iPad for use during the school year. In 7th grade, students can expand their technology experience through Digital Communications, Tech App 7 or Investigating Careers. Finally, in 8th grade students have the opportunity to pursue high school credit through career and technology courses including Arts, A/V Tech & Communication, Broadcasting, Robotics & more!
From building digital bridges to troubleshooting computer circuit boards, students are challenged and develop valuable problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through hands-on learning. Students from across Bexar County and surrounding areas may apply through the choice schools program.
