Principal FloresWelcome Wildcat Nation Families!

My name is Rick Flores and it is my honor and privilege to lead our Jeremiah Rhodes Middle School as principal this school year. I am a product of San Antonio ISD and look forward to serving the 78207 learning community with the highest level of excellence. As a former student, I attended Storm Elementary, Lowell Middle School and Burbank High School. As a first-generation university graduate I earned concurrent BA degrees in Sociology and Music Education from Texas Lutheran University. In 2001, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Schreiner University. In 2018, Mr. Flores earned his superintendent certification from Texas A&M-San Antonio and this past January he began his doctoral journey at Texas Tech University.

As an organization we are committed to providing our families, students and all stakeholders with the highest level of customer service and care. Our chief aim is to ensure that all Wildcat students are afforded every opportunity to experience both social and academic success. There is no doubt that our students will be challenged to reach higher than perhaps they thought possible but our professional and support staff are committed to providing the necessary support.

Parents thank you for partnering with us in the education of your children. If we can be of service, please do not hesitate to contact our campus. We are here to serve you. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat!

Rhodes Middle School - A Technology & Media Internal Charter School

As a technology and media internal charter school, Rhodes Middle School strives to improve and strengthen the academic performance of each one of our students by incorporating technology throughout our curriculum and across disciplines.

As an internal charter school specializing in the area of technology, our goal is to have technology at the foundation of our teachings, but also to prepare our students for an awaiting world that embraces technology in a multitude of ways.
We strongly believe that students deserve and are entitled to every opportunity to leave with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to further their education. As the world changes and becomes more heavily reliant on technology as a means to an end, we feel that providing classrooms that bring together standard teachings, technology and real world applications would best prepare them for the awaiting higher levels of education and future careers.

Rhodes School Performance Framework (SPF) Focus Group Responses

An SPF is a way to measure school quality. It is a tool that measures school culture as well as academics. It answers important questions such as: Are students progressing academically? Are parents satisfied? What is the school’s culture? Schools will receive a School Performance Report (SPR) annually that shows how they performed on defined metrics.
