I am a passionate educator who was born and raised in NW Montana, but have previously lived in the Pacific NW; Phoenix, Arizona; Abu Dhabi, UAE (living overseas was amazing and life-changing); and this is my 7th year at ALA. I am a two-time Oregon Duck (Go Ducks!!), and a former business-woman-turned-teacher. While I am understandably a self-proclaimed "math nerd", I am also a world-traveler (29 countries and counting) who loves spending my free time outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, exploring new places and learning new things.
