¡Bienvenidos al nuevo año escolar!
¡Estoy extremadamente emocionado de trabajar con su familia y su hij@ este próximo año académico 2020-2021! Reconozco que este año estará lleno de nuevas experiencias para nuestra comunidad. Sin embargo, quiero asegurarle que trabajaré constantemente para brindarle la educación más equitativa posible a su hij@ durante estos tiempos de incertidumbre. Realmente creo que es en momentos como este que nosotros como comunidad nos fortalecemos a través de la resiliencia y la unidad. Por lo tanto, le insto a que continúe abogando por su familia y l@ invito a unirse conmigo en esta nueva etapa de crecimiento e iluminación.
Por consiguiente, ¡doy la bienvenida a su familia a nuestra aula de lenguaje dual Montessori, Lotus! Similar a la flor de loto, mis estudiantes bilingües emergentes serán resistentes y prevalecerán contra todos los obstáculos que puedan enfrentar este año académico. Caerán y se levantarán como la flor del loto, regenerando espiritual, mental, emocional y físicamente cada día. Además, mi clase se esforzará por encarnar el símbolo de la flor de loto: la iluminación. Por último, creo que juntos como comunidad saldremos de estos tiempos inciertos más fuertes como la flor de loto florece bellamente de las aguas más turbias.

Dear Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to the new school year!
I am extremely excited to be working closely with your family and child this upcoming 2020-2021 academic year! I recognize that this year will be filled with new experiences for our community. However, I want to reassure you that I am going to be constantly working to provide the most equitable education possible for your child during these uncertain times. I truly believe that it is in times like these that we as a community grow stronger through resilience and unity. Therefore, I urge you to continue advocating for your family and I invite you to join me on this new journey of growth and enlightenment.
Accordingly, I welcome your family to our Montessori Dual Language classroom, Lotus! Similar to the Lotus plant, my emergent bilingual students will be resilient and prevail against all obstacles they might face this academic year. They will fall and rise like the flower of the Lotus regenerating spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically every day. In addition, my classroom will strive to embody the symbol of the Lotus plant: enlightenment. Lastly, I believe that together as a community we will come out of these uncertain times stronger like the Lotus flower blooms beautifully out of the murkiest waters.
