Regina Arzamendi proudly leads the Young Women’s Leadership Academy as Principal with a mindset of servant leadership that drives her focus on student success. Mrs. Arzamendi is originally from Brownsville, Texas. She is a wife and mother of 2 children that has resided in San Antonio for 20 years. Mrs. Arzamendi is a former teacher and former Assistant Principal at YWLA. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Applied Learning and Development and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She also attained a B.S. in Interior Design from Texas State University.
Her commitment to changing the lives of others is what she strives to instill in the students she serves. Besides serving as Principal, Mrs. Arzamendi is passionate for providing opportunities to empower students with connection and access where they can, in turn, help others who have helped them along their YWLA journey to college and beyond. Mrs. Arzamendi finds herself truly fortunate and humbled to be inspired by the dedication and hard work of the YWLA teachers, staff, and students that makes her proud to be a Cardinal!
