Blue Jay Daily Pledge
I will always remember to Dream Big,
To Believe in Myself,
To Enjoy Learning and Laughing,
That I am Beautiful Inside and Out,
And that I am FEARLESS.
The Young Women's Leadership Academy: Primary opened its doors in August of 2019, welcoming its first class of kindergarten and first grade students. Each year hereafter, YWLA Primary will phase in one grade level per year, becoming a full K-5 program by 2023. We are now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year. Please visit https://apply.avela.org/saisd/ to apply.
The team at YWLA Primary is proud to call the historic former Page Middle School site home. The original campus was built in 1926. Page Middle School phased out its program in June 2019.
In preparation for the growth of YWLA Primary, the campus will undergo continual renovations each year to ensure its accessibility for elementary students.
