The application window for YWLA Primary is currently closed. The window for the 2021-2022 school year will open in November, 2020. In the meantime, families are encouraged to review our school's About page and Parent-Student Handbook to learn more about our mission and core values.
The Young Women's Leadership Academy: Primary is a choice school in the San Antonio Independent School District. Admission is conducted via a digital lottery, which means that students who submit an application are randomized and selected for admissions. While we encourage families from across Bexar County to apply, there is an admissions priority for in-district students, with limited seats available for students currently residing in districts other than San Antonio ISD.
Beginning in November 2020, YWLA Primary will accept applications for new kindergarten students, as well as applications for very limited seats in first, second, and third grade. Please note that while our goal is to serve as many students as possible, seats are limited, and this is particularly true for first, second, and third grade seats.
The application period for the following school year typically runs from November to January, after which time the lottery will be conducted and families will be electronically notified of their admissions status.
The application for YWLA Primary is short and simple, taking about ten minutes to complete online using a computer or mobile phone. To join our waitlist, visit saisdenroll.schoolmint.net. Be sure to select "YWLA Primary at Page" as your school of choice.
