Welcome to De Zavala Roadrunners’ home page! De Zavala prides itself on wonderful
traditions and on collaborative learning.
We are a campus that welcomes special events such as our traditional
flag football game in the fall, our student and staff basketball game, our
monthly Positive Behavior Intervention Support activities, and academic events
throughout the year! We also enjoy
teaming up with our feeder pattern schools so that our children learn what
school will be like once they reach middle school and high school!
This year we are focusing on involving our parents and
community in our school. Our Parent,
Family Liaison, Ms. Mejia, will be providing opportunities for parents to learn
how to help our children to learn, to cooperate with others, and to be a part
of the learning community. She is
looking for volunteers to come to help make our campus a place where everyone
I am very proud to be a part of the De Zavala team, and I
look forward to moving our campus toward continued success! I believe that with our working together and
supporting each other through a close partnership we can make this campus a
wonderful learning community. I look
forward to another successful school year!
