Our library has about 9,000 books that are available for check out on a variety of subjects that should meet the interests of all our students in grades K-8. Our fiction section features a wide collection of classic books as well as the latest best sellers and authors.

There is also a large selection of digital resources that also feature a large variety of material for fiction and non-fiction. These include databases, audio books and online books. There is information below that shows you how to access these excellent resources from any digital device, including your cell phone, tablets and computers.


The library is your place to come to find exciting books for you to take home, read and enjoy. If you're not sure what kind of books you like, all you have to do is try a book that looks interesting and if you like it...keep reading it. If you don't like it...guess what! You can bring it back and select another book until you find the books and authors you like best. We want you to find books that you like so that you will enjoy reading!



The TumbleBook Library is an excellent resource to allow students to explore a variety of genres and non-fiction books. Students can choose to read on their own or with the guidance of the read-a-long feature to help them learn new words and their correct pronunciations.

Teachers and students can save their favorite books and bookmark them for later. Books can be accessed from any device, anywhere and any time. Remember: you can also download the app to make it even easier to access all the books and special features.

Click on the Resources tab below to use TumbleBooks, as well as other Digital Resources offered through the district.

The library is excited to announced the addition of a new digital resource called Scholastic Go! that provides students with a "SAFE" option for searching the internet through the use of simple and advanced searches.

The resource includes two dictionaries: The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fifth Edition and The American heritage Student Dictionary.

The Go Tube Video Library includes a collection of short videos from 3-D printing to Zebras that enhance the learning experience.

The section of World News includes hundreds of newspapers from countries around the world, as well as the United States AND there is an atlas of the World and the U.S.

When you click on the Access Follett Destiny button above, you will have access to the library catalog. This allows you to search for books that might be located in our library.

You can also access ALL the eBooks and Audio Books available in SAISD. You can use any device that connects to the internet to read the eBooks and to listen to the Audio Books.




SAISD Single Sign On

Click on the Single Sign On link above to access Digital Resources provided by SAISD. The Single Sign On allows you to log in one time to access all of the resources instead of logging into each one individually.

Bluebonnet Book Club Members will meet in the library during their assigned lunch times on Fridays. Club members are encouraged to read a minimum of 5 books so that they can vote for their favorite book in January when students in grades 3 through 6 in Texas select their favorite book title and author.

Club members will also read a selection of books in order to compete in the Bluebonnet Battle of the Books in May 2018. There will be two competitions: one for 3rd and 4th graders and another for 5th and 6th graders.
