Welcome to Rogers Academy
To scholars and parents, welcome to Rogers Academy! It is our goal is to ensure that all student’s academic needs are met in order to be career and college ready; and their social-emotional needs are met in order to be ready for the challenges of real life.
Rogers Academy has implemented school-wide programs to support our goals. We are an AVID campus, prepare students for college through the direct teaching of the skills of note taking and studying. Each day students at Rogers are welcomed to campus and their classroom by teachers and staff, and participate in a morning meeting as we focus school-wide on building relationships with students and enhancing their mindfulness of their emotions. And to give all students the opportunity to be bilingual-biliterate, we offer a dual language program that is open to all students.
These programs support our mission to prepare all students with the skills and knowledge needed to be college and career ready. We want to ensure that our students will not be limited by their education but will be able to make their own life path choice.
For more information or to visit the campus to discuss our programs, please come by the school to see me.
