Dress Code
Dress Code
FNCA (LOCAL), which governs the student dress code. Based on feedback from thousands of stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff, uniforms will no longer be required for early childhood, elementary, and academy students, except for specialized campuses which may have their own dress code.
Students in early childhood, elementary, and academy campuses must wear a shirt, with fabric that touches the waistband in the front and back, on the sides under the arms, and that covers the shoulders with material at least 2 inches wide; pants/jeans or the equivalent (skirt, sweatpants, leggings, a dress, shorts) no shorter than finger-tip length and free of rips that expose skin or undergarments above the finger-tip line; and shoes.
Students may continue to wear their uniforms if they wish.
