Hello Owls! Welcome Back to another new and exciting year! My name is Rosanne Ortega-Gonzales. This is 9th year here at Schenck Elementary.

I was born right here in San Antonio, and I have attended all SAISD schools; Kelly Elementary, Lowell Middle School, and Burbank High School (Go Bulldogs)!  I am a graduate of Texas A&M-San Antonio. I received my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an ESL endorsement. Additionally, I have obtained a Masters of Science in Reading Specialization, and have earned a Reading Specialist Certification, as well as a Master Reading Teacher certification.

There is so much  I am looking forward to, but most importantly witnessing the growth of my students this year! Thank you for joining me on this amazing journey, and I look forward to a memorable year!
