Hello! I am Ralph Serrano and I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I graduated from Central Catholic High School and attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. Upon graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps one month later. I completed my contractual obligation and was hired as a Parole Officer in Houston, TX. I was able to transfer back to San Antonio and was hired by Whittier MS in 2014. 

I am looking forward to completing my sixth year as an LOTC Instructor. The Hawk Battalion will continue to be the model LOTC program in SAISD. Last year, three LOTC cadets were meritoriously promoted to the next rank before entering their freshman class at Edison HS. These cadets competed in a promotion board held by Edison High School JROTC command. Last year's LOTC produced 16 JROTC cadets to Edison High School, 1 cadet to Jefferson High School, and 1 cadet to Taft High School. I look forward to the what this year has in store for us!
