I am a Texas State University graduate with a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art and an all-level education certificate. This is my 7th year as MLK Academy's art teacher. Every year I am amazed at the talent and growth of our students, my goal is to enrich and elevate their learning through the fine arts. I have a passion for education and love teaching students new and exciting techniques.

 

I love all forms of visual art, from printmaking and painting to sculpture and photography! I really like to incorporate my student's interests into the curriculum, I believe students should be active participants in their learning.
