Hello! My name is Mrs. Galvan and I am a first grade science/social studies teacher. This will be my 8th year teaching. I love teaching and watching little minds shape into readers, scientists, mathematicians, etc. I absolutely adore watching students "light bulbs" shine because the kiddos get it!
My first adventure was spent serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. As they always say, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine!" Oooh Rahhh!
My next adventure was spent at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I graduated with my bachelors degree. GO ROADRUNNERS!
I have an amazing husband who shares the same passion as I do, and is a teacher/coach at another academy. We have 3 amazing and talented children. My 15 year old daughter is a volleyball queen, my 11 year old son is passionate about baseball, while my 4 year old daughter is the cutest ballerina around town!
In a nutshell, I love children and am passionate in serving this community. My goal is to create a fun and safe environment for your child to learn, and get them ready for 2nd grade. Thank you in advance for making this a great year.
