Welcome to our Virtual Learning Year 2020!
I am Mrs. A. Vallejo and I will be your English teacher this year.
I am very excited to be here this year. This is my 8th year teaching and my 5th year as a Highlands Owl! I know that this year is totally different from our usual Back-to-School fun but we are going to get through this and learn SO much. Hopefully, I get to see your beautiful faces in about 3-4 weeks!
Here's what you need to know to be successful in my class for the next few weeks. Please share this with your parents too!

First 3 weeks ONLINE information:
Since we are going Virtual for the first 3 weeks (A FIRST for schools EVERYWHERE!) We will be using Canvas and other Apps to communicate and submit work. We will be meeting "Live" and learning for 45 minutes and then you will have an assignment you will be doing on your own for the last 45 min of my "class". You can do this during those 45 minutes OR you can do it later that night as long as you're ready for the next time we meet.
