Class of 2019 SENIORS...

What should you be doing?

  • See Financial Aid Flyer below to learn how to finish your FAFSA and get $$ for college!
  • Visit your Valero College & Career Go Center Weekly
  • Complete your APPLY TEXAS Application and begin applying to colleges/universities
  • Complete your FAFSA/TASFA now! Please stop by the Go Center to create your FSA ID and meet with Project Stay Representatives and Financial Aid Advisors
  • Make sure that you have a completed assigned tasks in your Naviance Account
  • Study for SAT/ACT, see your College Bound Advisor for additional study opportunities
  • Register to take your TSI in the library with Ms. Bechiom, Campus Testing Coordinator
  • Reminder you must have an updated Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine, if you do not have private insurance the mobile clinic will be on site here at Highlands (date TBD)

One in Five Minds - Support and Education for Mental Health

Our mission to promote awareness and education on children's mental health is fully operational with our new site.  With a click of a button parents can learn about the warning signs of mental illness, watch videos or read blogs from experts in the field, download our free handbooks, find help and events, read stories from parents and so much more! 

The new site also features an entire section dedicated to military families and the children's mental health challenges they face, made possible through the support of USAA.
