Hello Kathmandu Families!

Welcome to both our returning and new families. My name is Ms. Erin and I am the Montessori guide in the room.

A little about me: I completed my primary (early childhood and kindergarten) Montessori training at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, CO., and have taught at Montessori schools in both Colorado and Texas before coming to Steele. My bachelor's degree is in Journalism and I still love telling stories and connecting with our community as a teacher.

For those of you who are new to us and Montessori, our classroom is child-centered and we meet each child where he or she is at academically and socially. This allows them to move at their own pace and developmental readiness level. Our environment is set up to encourage choice and independence for each child.  I am available and always open to any questions you may have this year.
