¡Hola!  I am so excited to be here at Highlands High School with you all.  This is currently my 6th year as a Spanish teacher, and I wouldn't be anywhere else. I was raised here in this beautiful city of San Antonio and am a 1st generation college graduate.  I received my Bachelor's degree (Spanish with teacher certification) from St. Mary's University in 2015.  I also received my Master's degree (Educational Leadership) from St. Mary's University in 2019.  During my teaching career, I have taught Spanish I-IV AP.

In this class, you will learn essential skills and vocabulary terminology to communicate with others in Spanish.  The class will be structured to acquire different skills, including grammar, speech, literature, and a cultural understanding of Spanish speaking countries around the world.
