Golden Bear Battalion and New Cadets,
Let me take this opportunity to welcome everyone back from a much-deserved summer break. This past school year 18-19 found our Battalion very engaged with competitions and events throughout the community and I expect the same busy schedule this year as well. I want to thank you for choosing to be in this program at Edison. Our program received an Honor Unit with Distinction rating two years ago one of the highest ratings a JROTC program can receive from Cadet Command. We will continue to push these standards and expectations upon new cadets so when our inspection comes again, we will be prepared. For new cadets, get involved in the program by joining a team. For LET Levels 2-4, this is your year to lead the Battalion to success. Both the SGM and I look forward to seeing all of you in action by displaying our program not only in the school but in the community. Let us lead by example and have a great school year.
