Teacher Background
I attended St. Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas. In 2018, I graduated with a B.A. in Art Education, and continued to earn my Journalism certificate in 2022. I've been teaching since then and have been at Highlands the whole time. Let's go, Owls!
I'm originally from El Paso, Texas and graduated from Socorro High School. My mom, who has been a teacher all my life, is my biggest teaching inspiration. She's the world's most dedicated and courageous teacher and I can only hope to be a fraction of the inspiration she is.
