I am thrilled to welcome you to a new school year! This will be my 4th year teaching, and I am excited to be teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra 1. Last year, I taught 6th Grade Math and 6th Grade Math Honors at Whittier Middle School, and before that, I taught 8th Grade Math and Algebra 1 at a different campus. I also have experience as a long-term substitute teacher, teaching High School Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.

Educational Background

I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor's degree in 2018 and a Master's degree in 2023. I will be returning to UTSA to pursue another Master's degree and to obtain my principal certification. In the future, I also plan to pursue a doctorate degree.

Tutoring Availability

I offer tutoring sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM. If these times don't work for you, I am flexible and willing to arrange other times before or after school, but please let me know in advance so I can accommodate your needs. Daily homework will make up 60% of your grade, so tutoring is a perfect opportunity to get extra help and stay on track.

I firmly believe that every student has the potential to be ready for college, a career, or the military. I am committed to providing all the support you need to succeed. However, I believe that success is a partnership, and I expect students to meet me halfway.
