Hello Families!
We are gearing up to prepare our Pollinator Garden THIS FRIDAY, March 6th from 2-4pm during our BH GARDENING DAY.
We will be assembling garden beds and filling them with soil, spreading compost, creating a gravel walkway so our students can enjoy the pollinator garden that tends to get muddy when it rains, year-round.
We need adults to help us make physical part of the prep possible for our students. Please consider coming to help us for 2 hours+ from 2 to 4 pm at the Crayon Area. Please dress comfortably to move around.
We also need sturdy wheel barrows, gardening gloves and shovels to move about 9 cubic yard of soil and gravel from the playground to the crayon area. If you are able, please bring one to use to help make the job easier.
For our Planting Day on March 17th, we are accepting donations of Native Texas Pollinator plants to add to our garden space. Along with this donation, you can place a dedication stone for a loved one near the plant as part of our Memory Garden if you wish.
