The San Antonio Public Library is another great resource for reading materials including books and eBooks, but they also have magazines, DVDs, newspapers and computers and printers for you to use.
The closest public library is the Bazan Branch at 2200 W. Commerce. They are open Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and on Monday and Wednesday 12:00 noon to 8:00pm.
In addition to reading materials, the Bazan Branch hosts Lego Clubs, craft time, ESL and GED classes, tween and teen times and reading clubs. Check out their website at San Antonio Public Library for more information.
Finally, if you are looking for homework help, the Public Library is another great option. They offer online tutoring help from 2:00 pm to midnight every day of the week for students from elementary through college in Math, Science, Social Studies and English. Tutoring is available in both English and Spanish. Go to SAPL Homework Help for more information. You will need a library card to get help, but those are free at any library branch.
