Tabitha Lee Acevedo
We are excited to welcome Tabitha Acevedo to the Woodlawn Hills familia as she begins her 16th year with San Antonio ISD. Ms. Acevedo started her career teaching 5th grade in Jacksonville, Florida, before returning home to San Antonio. Since then, she has served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal at Briscoe Elementary, Baskin Elementary, Beacon Hill Academy, Hawthorne Academy, and Knox ECEC. A proud SAISD alumna and Thomas Jefferson High School graduate, Ms. Acevedo holds an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Smith College and a master's degree in educational administration from Concordia University Texas.
As a lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership at the University of Texas San Antonio. Ms. Acevedo is thrilled to serve the community she grew up in. She is passionate about instilling a love for learning in our students and looks forward to partnering with families to help our students thrive. Together, we will unlock a future of success and prosperity for all our students.

Estamos muy contentos de dar la bienvenida a Tabitha Acevedo a la familia Woodlawn Hills, ya que comienza su 16 º año con San Antonio ISD. La Sra. Acevedo comenzó su carrera como profesora de 5º grado en Jacksonville, Florida, antes de regresar a su hogar en San Antonio. Desde entonces, ha trabajado como maestra, subdirectora y directora en Briscoe Elementary, Baskin Elementary, Beacon Hill Academy, Hawthorne Academy y Knox ECEC. Orgullosa graduada de SAISD y Thomas Jefferson High School, la Sra. Acevedo tiene una licenciatura en Educación Infantil de Smith College y una maestría en Administración Educativa de Concordia University Texas.
Como aprendiz de por vida, actualmente cursa un doctorado en Liderazgo Educativo en University of Texas San Antonio. La Sra. Acevedo está encantada de servir a la comunidad en la que creció. Es apasionada por inculcar el amor por el aprendizaje en nuestros estudiantes y espera asociarse con las familias para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a prosperar.
