Highlands High School Go Green Environmental Club and S.A.W.S. Impact Team

Working together in creating ways to have a safer, cleaner and healthier community.

This year's Service Learning Project emphasizes the importance of drinking enough water daily. To increase the quality of TAP Water, our club encourages others to INFUSE their water with fruits. Everyone should drink at least 64 ounces of water everyday. So "INFUSE IT, DON'T REFUSE IT" and stay Hydrated.

City of San Antonio Healthy Neighborhoods Hub partnered with Highlands Go Green Club and SAWS Impact Team to bring over 300 students 4 Different Kinds of Infused Waters. Students voted for their favorite between: Strawberry/Pineapple, Cucumber/Lemon, Cherry/Lime, and Watermelon/Kiwi.

A big thank you to Andrew De Leon, one of San Antonio's Community Health Worker, and their contribution in donating fresh and frozen fruits.

A bigger thank you to Lynne Christopher with SAWS, San Antonio Water System, for her multiple years to the education of the most important resource on this planet. WATER. I hope to continue to see you at all the Confluences to come in the future.
