Hello everyone,

My name is Mr. Javier Martinez.  This is my 4th year teaching here at Sarah King Elementary.  Go Lions!!! I am a graduate of San Antonio Independent School District, and I am proud to come back into my neighborhood to give back.  I attended Barkley Elementary when it was on Zarzamora St. during my early years.  I then attended Tafolla Middle School where I studied Latin for three years.  I did graduate from Sidney Lanier High School the Pride of the West Side.  My higher education was obtained at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  Go Roadrunners!!!

Being from the neighborhood I have very high expectations for our students and truly believe that each one or our students is capable of achieving their goals.  I am excited to work with our students in seeing that they all have a chance to become what they dream to be.
