Parents, at your request, we have updated our student dress code! Now, all-grade-level students, except for some at specialized schools, have the option for free dress. The dress code is new this year for students in early childhood, elementary, and academies. Middle and high school students already have the option for free dress. Students may still wear uniforms if they wish. For more information on what students may wear and campus exceptions, visit www.saisd.net/dresscode

CAMPUS VISION

Working together, the Sarah King Community inspires, produces and empowers innovative and engaged citizens with a passion for learning.

Dear Sarah S. King Elementary School Community,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new principal of Sarah S. King Elementary. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such capable and bright students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support its staff, students, and families.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 17 years. I have worked with students ranging in age from PK-8th grade in a variety of roles. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Sarah S. King Elementary, and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure each child's success.

I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of Sarah S. King Elementary School this year and in the years to come. Most importantly, because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sincerely,

Charity Nathaniel, Principal
