Greetings! My name is Mr. Erick Lira, and I am one of the newer teachers here to Sam Houston HS. I will be in charge of all 3 Construction Technology Courses (Principles of Construction, Construction Technology I, and Construction Technology II) as well as the after school club. Both my and our Principle, Dr. Diop, hope to have a good deal of our Construction students participate in the BuildUS event in January, as well as be contributors to our Robotics class, and the other Schools' Architecture programs. 

We aspire to be working with both power and hand tools, and studying/understanding the basics of Masonry, Woodworking, and Metallurgy by the School year's end.

My office hours will be from 7:15 to Bell in the mornings, and Bell to 5:00 in the afternoons, should you (Parent/Guardian) have any issues, concerns, or ideas for myself or the class!
