Charity Nathaniel
Charity Nathaniel is the principal of Sarah King Elementary School in SAISD. Mrs. Nathaniel has been in the field of education since 2005, and has served as an instructional assistant, teacher, instructional coach, academic dean, assistant principal, and now principal. She brings a well-versed background in motivating at-risk student populations to success, building relationships with students and families, discipline management, and data disaggregation. Mrs. Nathaniel is known for being a fun, outgoing leader who motivates all those around her to learn and grow in the field of education. She maintains a good rapport with staff, students, and parents, and is an advocate of equity, believing that all students can and will achieve with high-quality engaging instruction, high expectations, and the support of loving and nurturing educators. Mrs. Nathaniel considers herself a “Champion for Kids” and a life-long learner, in fact she learns most from the students and staff she leads.
Mrs. Nathaniel graduated from The University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005, and from Texas A&M San Antonio with a Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 2014.
