Natasha Dennis
Natasha Dennis is an enthusiastic educator who has served in the San Antonio Independent School District for over 15 years. She is proud to be a product of this district having attended Samuel Houston Gates Elementary, Martin Luther King Middle School and graduated from Sam Houston High School. She has received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Texas.
Natasha began her professional educational career right here in SAISD as an Instructional Assistant. She then became an elementary teacher, an Implementation Specialist, an Instructional Coach, a Special Education Dean and an Assistant Principal. These opportunities have allowed her to learn and grow into the passionate leader that she is today.
Natasha strongly believes that she possesses the characteristics needed to promote the philosophy and goals of the SAISD family. To whom much is given, much is expected, and she’s been gifted with a love and a sense of responsibility for children – therefore, the expectation is great. She understands that in today’s society, being an effective leader means leading with integrity, empathy and commitment and she strives to meet that challenge each day. Our communities deserve to see examples in campus leadership that practice relentless effort and determination to ensure that all students are learning and growing in high quality learning environments.
