My name is Rory John Rivera and I
will be your child's teacher for Algebra 1 this school year. Mathematics is my
passion; I am committed to helping each one of my students develop a love,
respect and appreciation for mathematical concepts. Math is not only an important school subject,
but more particularly an important subject for life. Therefore, I will ensure that I present math
practically and with application to real world situations.
It is a new year at Edison High
School and the start of new athletics seasons.
I am excited to get to work on building a strong Football and Baseball
teams. I have big goals this year for
our players and I am pleased that your student has joined our class and
ultimately our team. Please thoroughly read the Athletic Handbook. My requirements
for success are simple – parent/s show up to support our athletes, help your
athlete attend all practices with the proper equipment, make sure your athlete
gets proper nutrition, hydration and sleep.
